What We Deliver

Structural Analysis & Design

Linear and non-linear analysis for reinforced concrete, structural steel and composite structures using industry-standard software (ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, STAAD). Seismic design per UAE zone requirements.

Foundation Engineering

Shallow and deep foundation design — isolated footings, rafts, piled foundations and diaphragm walls — informed by geotechnical interpretation and soil-structure interaction analysis.

Concept & Scheme Design

Feasibility studies, structural scheme options, and value-engineering reviews that optimise material quantities and construction sequence from the earliest project stages.

Peer Review & Independent Check

Independent third-party structural reviews for high-rise, long-span or complex geometry projects where authority approval requires a formal independent check engineer.

Construction Supervision

Site supervision, RFI response and shop-drawing review during construction to ensure the design intent is realised on site and any field modifications are properly engineered.

Which design codes does ESG work to?
Our engineers design to the British Standards (BS), Eurocodes (EN), AASHTO, ACI, and the local UAE municipal regulations. We routinely deliver dual-code submissions when authorities or clients require it.
Do you handle authority approvals in the UAE?
Yes. We prepare and submit structural calculations, drawings, and reports to Dubai Municipality, Sharjah Municipality, Abu Dhabi Department of Municipalities and Transport, and other Gulf authorities. We track each submission until no-objection is issued.
Can ESG join a project at the construction stage?
Yes. We are regularly engaged for construction-stage support — shop-drawing review, RFI response, site coordination, and engineer-of-record handover. We can take over from another consultant where needed.
Do you provide structural assessment of existing buildings?
Yes. We carry out condition assessments, capacity calculations, and structural verifications for change-of-use, refurbishment, and post-incident scenarios. Reports include defect mapping, remaining service life, and remedial recommendations.
How are your fees structured?
Most engagements are lump-sum based on a defined scope. For variable scopes (e.g. site supervision, RFI support) we quote a daily or hourly rate. We are happy to provide a fee proposal within 48 hours of receiving a brief.
What software does your engineering team use?
Our standard analysis suite includes ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, MIDAS Civil, LUSAS, PROKON, and Revit Structure for BIM coordination. We share calculation packs and analysis files with clients on request.
